One of the most legendary trains in the world is the Orient Express. The train has been the setting of some of the finest movies and novels in the world. This makes it a fascinating journey with many people from around the world hoping to get a ride. This is a very expensive journey for most people and hence not everyone can take it. IGT has decided to let players take a ride on the “Mystery Express” instead!
Players start the game by getting on the Orient Express. They will board the train in London and will be accompanied by Isabella and Christopher, the two main characters that will accompany you during your journey in this game. A short animated intro starts the players off on their adventure. The background starts with one city but players can change it around depending on the level they attain.
You can choose cities like Paris, Venice or Istanbul. Besides the great graphics, players will be able to experience great sounds. Get treated to jazz from the 1930s which let you relax and enjoy the journey.

As for gameplay, the game has the basic 5×3 grid. Featuring 30 paylines, players have a good chance at winning. Besides the normal wins, the game keeps track of a player’s experience on this unforgettable journey. Every time a Bonus symbol lands, players add it to their track until it reaches 100 percent. The symbols themselves are a mix of the thematic and card symbols so players will be able to enjoy the experience a lot more.
Special Features
The main special features in this game come in the form of experience. Players start in London and as they get more experience, they can go from various cities. The progression is Paris then Venice and final arrival at Istanbul. Each new city provides new perks and bonuses. For example, Istanbul can give Mystery Box Bonuses that have huge multipliers. Additionally, Isabella and Christopher get a change of clothes when they arrive at a new city.
The game also has the Mystery Express logo. It acts as the wild and can replace any symbol except the Bonus. Sometimes, entire stacks can become wild. If three Bonus symbols land in a payline, players get 10 experience points on their track and get to go on a Bon Voyage trip. Players roll dice on a board to determine bonus prizes and more.
