Space is full of mysteries, and we only understand a small part of what’s actually out there. That sense of the unknown is what Hacksaw Gaming leans into with “Jaws of Justice“, a real money slot that imagines a universe ruled by predators that were “engineered for destruction.”

According to the game’s story, these creatures wiped out life on their own planet and have now moved on to the stars. If the premise sounds strange, the game itself takes that oddness even further once you see it in motion.

Hacksaw clearly had fun building this one. Jaws of Justice doesn’t follow the usual slot-game formula in terms of visuals or theme, as the setting is envisioned as an abstract corner of outer space, painted with bright splashes of color and surrounded by floating sharks.

Some drift around the reels and others drop directly onto them. It’s a weird mix, but it works if you’re willing to go along for the ride.

The game layout is a 5×4 grid with 14 paylines that pay from the left. Hacksaw Gaming rates the volatility at 4 out of 5, so it leans toward the high-risk side. Bets range from $/€0.10 to $/€100, and the top RTP version is set at 96.2 percent

There are ten regular symbols, starting with 10–A card ranks that offer 2x the bet for five of a kind. Higher-value symbols include sci-fi versions of rhinos, crocs, tigers, dinosaurs, and sharks

Landing five premium symbols pays between 5x and 10x the bet. Wilds appear on all reels, and five wilds on a line also return 10x.

Special Features

The features are where the game gets wild, literally. Laser Shark symbols only land on the bottom row and fire lasers upward or diagonally, turning everything in their path into wilds. Some of those wilds can reveal multipliers up to x200.

If a laser hits a wild that already has a multiplier, the number increases. Multipliers also combine when part of the same win. After firing, Laser Sharks turn into wilds themselves.

Force Fields positioned along the edges bounce lasers around the board, sometimes straight back, which can stack even more multipliers. Free spins come in three versions: Killer Cosmos, Chompocalypse, and Nuclear Nebula. Each one builds on the last with more lasers and guaranteed shark drops. Players can also buy their way into features through several purchase options.

In the end, Jaws of Justice is much more than a bizarre space adventure, as it takes Hacksaw’s wild multiplier style and pushes it to an over-the-top extreme, creating bursts of chaos ready to get the adrenaline going when everything lines up.
