Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’ve probably at least heard of the Monopoly game and even played it once or twice, either online or offline, as its millions of fans worldwide.

The brand has introduced its fair share of adaptations in the gambling world, ranging from online slots like Monopoly Megaways, Monopoly Heights, and Monopoly Grand Hotel, to live game shows such as Monopoly Live and Big Baller Monopoly broadcast on TV.

As expected, not all of these versions were top-notch, and many faded and started collecting dust. However, this hasn’t stopped the franchise from going forward. The latest addition is Red Tiger’s “Monopoly Cash is King“, a slot that promises to offer another digital spin on the familiar board game.

Visually speaking, Monopoly Cash is King leans into the license with style. The classic street-lined board frames the main playing area, with buildings adding depth and movement.

Mr Monopoly, officially Rich Uncle Pennybags, appears alongside cards and other icons, giving the slot plenty of thematic charm for anyone who enjoys Monopoly-themed visuals.

The game runs on a 5×3 reel set with 25 paylines. Its RTP is 96.04%, and it has medium-high volatility. Instead of moving a metal token around the board, players choose a stake between $/€0.10 and $/€80.

Symbols range from houses and hotels to irons, taps, light bulbs, cars, and trains. Mathing five low-paying symbols will bring players payouts between 4x and 6x the stake. High-value symbols can pay 8x to 40x. Wilds substitute for all symbols and pay 40x when five line up.

Special Features

The slot’s features lean heavily on Monopoly flair, with Feature Reels, Cash Stickers, and Mr Monopoly all influencing the wins.

Feature Reels sit above the main grid, but, in the base game, only the middle reel is active. Special symbols land here and need Mr Monopoly in view to activate.

Street cards can land on all three reels, while Chance and Community Chest appear only on the middle one. Symbols on the first four reels may carry Cash Stickers worth 1x to 5,000x your stake.

Mr Monopoly can appear on the rightmost reel. If fewer than six Cash Stickers are on screen, he collects and awards them.

When paired with Mr Monopoly, the Community Chest reveals one bonus before wins are paid: a win multiplier, random wilds, or full wild reels.

Mr Monopoly landing with six or more Cash Stickers triggers Hold and Respin with three spins.

You can buy Community Chest, Street Card, Hold and Respin, or Free Spins for 15x, 25x, 30x, or 110x your bet.

For fans of the board game, Monopoly Cash is King captures the spirit of the iconic game, bringing the board, houses, hotels, tokens, and Mr Monopoly himself to life on the reels. All in all, Monopoly Cash is King is shinier in terms of presentation and not so much when it comes to innovation.
