Playson, the popular game developer that “passionately serves customers worldwide” with a “commercially successful portfolio of regulated and mobile-focused products”, has launched another entry into its constantly growing Hold and Win category.
Pink Clovers XXXL is a fresh slot whose aim is to add a little spice to an already successful and familiar formula to most online casino players.
The game is played on a large 6×6 reel layout, which immediately gives it a different appearance from the standard five-reel slots that dominate casino lobbies.
From a visual standpoint, not many elements will grab your attention, as the design and overall theme are pretty simple with the pink-and-green clovers as the main eye-catchers.
The base game follows the clover symbols. When a Collect Clover lands on the second reel, it will immediately become valuable if clovers are also found on the first or third reel.
The Collect Clover will proceed to collect their values and add them directly to the spin win.
Special Features
The game also features Super Collect Clovers, which will take things up a notch by applying multipliers between 2x and 7x to collected values.
The mechanic is pretty straightforward, but it does offer more interaction in the base game compared to the majority of Hold and Win releases, where not much happens outside the bonus.
The Bonus Game begins with three respins, resetting back to three every time a fresh symbol lands.
During the feature, Collect and Super Collect Clovers will preserve their positions on the second reel, with multipliers possibly showing up on the first and third reels with values between 2x and 10x.
These multipliers will stay in place until they are matched with a clover. When several of them land on the same position, they will stack together.
The feature also introduces four jackpots (Mini, Minor, Major, and Grand), offering players a route towards larger payouts beyond the standard clover values.
All in all, Playson’s Pink Clovers XXXL does add some fresh interaction with its Collect Clover mechanics, but the familiar features, standard RTP of 96%, and 5,000x max win make it difficult to stand out.
While fans of the studio’s Hold and Win slots may enjoy it, the game offers little that’s truly new.
