I honestly can’t remember the last time I got so thrilled about the release of a new slot game. Temple Tumble is a part of the highly acclaimed Megaways series, meaning that it features a mass of ways to win on its reels. When you also consider that it has been created by Relax Gaming, then you’ll probably see why I was so excited to get to spin its reels. Temple Tumble: Megaways doesn’t disappoint in any way, in my opinion.
Main Game and Paytable
The slot features six reels and the same number of rows, although these cascade rather than spin. While playing the game, you will be able to see up to 46,656 ways to win come into play, which is massive! Matching symbols in any position on three or more adjacent reels, starting from the leftmost, will constitute as a win. Your bet in this game can be changed between the minimum of €0.20 up to the maximum of €100 per spin.
The visuals that appear within Temple Tumble: Megaways only add to its appeal as well, with the temple in question on display in the background. Upon the reels, you’ll first see symbols of standard playing card icons. These run from J to A. After these come three medium-paying gemstones in green, blue and red. The latter of these can multiply your wager by up to 50 times over. Then there’s the symbol of the red dragon’s head and finally, the Buddha. This can pay-out up to 100 times your wager.
There’s also a wild symbol in the game, which is represented by the image of the explorer. He can substitute for other symbols on reels two to six.
The bonus feature of this game stood out to me quite nicely, with the free spins mode being the only of these. This round will trigger if you manage to destroy all of the locked stones from the ongoing cascades that occur whenever you form winning combinations. You’ll be rewarded with six free spins to start off with, and you need to choose one of the three modes that are available.
The three free spins modes provide medium, high and very high volatility levels, with some of the blocks on the reels being considered as “Special Blocks”. These contain one or more of the following:
- Multipliers of 1x, 2x or 3x which increase your winnings
- Extra spins of 1, 2 or 3 to extend the free spins round
- Multipliers and extra spins for both of the features to become active
It’s true that Temple Tumble: Megaways only has a free spins round as its special inbuilt feature, but this operates in a truly unique way. The overall theme of the game is integrated into it perfectly, incorporating an apt soundtrack and supremely high-quality graphics, thanks to Relax Gaming. I’m already a fan of it and I’m almost certain that you will be, too.
